I thought I would turn these images into black and white after seeing sparepartsandpics photos for Friday skywatch. He always takes the most arresting photographs. Then I saw the blackandwhiteweekend blog and thought that I would join in. Couldn't create a hash tag on my computer, however, try as I might, so couldn't join the party! I always think that old black and white films are visually arresting, giving a heightened awareness of light and shade.
Beautiful photos. The first one has a vibe of serenity and strength. I agree about old black and white movies. The film noir genre as well, every scene a work of art.
Black and white pictures are always more dramatic and interesting.

ReplyDeleteThat tranquil spot by the sea was magical, really life enhancing. I practise chi kung at home in the kitchen - not quite the same atmosphere!
