We are just back from a week in Corfu
where, most days, the weather was obliging.
But when these clouds rolled in
we decided to take cover.
Time for a milkshake at the American diner.
But most days it was hot enough to cram on my new sunhat.
Dancers came to the hotel in their beautiful traditional costumes.
We had a lovely time.
Got a kick out of the "American diner" on Corfu. Very pretty but those are the wrong glasses to use for a milkshake in the USA. ; > )
ReplyDeleteThe wrong glasses, eh? What would I know! Those milkshakes completely wrecked our appetite for dinner!
DeleteOh look at that teenaged body. Isn't Corfu north of Sardinia? Don't hear about it often. Must have been nice to go someplace be achy and warm.
ReplyDeleteThe camera lies, Donna - everything has gone south.
DeleteSunshine, how I crave it. Today it's cold, dull and wet.
Corfu?! Gaaa, what a great getaway. You look smashing too - great art shirts you are both wearing.
ReplyDeleteMy t-shirt was bought in Croatia and has a Modesty Blaise image and quote on the front - I've forgotten what it says! It was terribly made, I keep expecting it to fall apart. The 'work of art' one is great and came from the Saatchi Gallery. He has another one that says 'ARTY' with an 'F' in front in a darker colour.
DeleteOh Corfu!!! I spent a crazy month there back in the 1970's. There certainly wasn't an American diner there back then! Gosh, you look so pretty. Always so chic and fit and tanned. Love the stripes and that perfect sun hat!!!
