I knew that it would be a colourful affair
and I wasn't disappointed.
Those Heart Space gals are a colourful lot,
with their handcrafted necklaces
and love of pattern.
We had a lovely time.
What did I wear? Just about the only patterning that I possess,
a Boden floral jacket
with a lightweight cashmere scarf.
How exciting to launch a book. Your friend's studio looks so inviting!
ReplyDeleteAnd I am in love with your hair. So beautiful. And the floral jacket is very pretty with the yellow scarf. I wish Janet the best in her books sales!
Janet had made up packets of Kaffe Fasset's ribbons to sell at the book launch. What fabulous packets they were - if I could thread a needle I would have bought some!
DeleteThe yellow skirt adventures - I want to join in!
I am so thrilled for it all as I am the one girl who got lucky working with Kaffe Fasset and creating his woven ribbons! What Janet has done is wonderful because as of now there are still so many people who do not know what to do with ribbons! Thanks for your lovely post! ReplyDeleteHello Edith, how nice to have a comment from you. I've been over to look at your site and seen all the beautifully creative ribbons. The squirrel and nuts motif is very topical as I'm currently battling the local squirrel population for custody of our ripening walnuts. (The squirrels are winning!)
