For the last couple of weeks I've been late to Patti's party at
Not Dead Yet Style, arriving on Monday evening to find the venue full. So here I am coming early to join in the fun wearing a linen top by Flax and a pair of old linen pants from Boden.
Just a slight jar with my favourite colour nail varnish, 'Funtime Fuschia' and a ring that I bought in Turkey - they said the stone was 'lal.' Does that translate as glass?!
I'm crumpled but happy, because the sun is shining!
Wonderful color, and I love a "crumpled" linen for summer, it's the perfect look. Thanks for sharing it with Visible Monday and have a great week.
ReplyDeleteMy, but there's a rush to get into your Visible Monday, Patti - I can see that I'll have to be linking in in my jim-jams on Sunday nights!
DeleteSuch a pretty, summer color. Glad you made it in this week and have a great one!
ReplyDeleteIt's a very cheerful colour to wear, Pam. I'm not able to carry off a red now that my hair is grey, but magentas and bright pinks seem fine.
DeleteWhoa - buttons exact pantone of your nails! love it :)
ReplyDeleteAlso, have you noticed, my skin is wrinkled to match the linen. (Took me years!)
DeleteA wonderful crumpled flower!
ReplyDeleteCrumpled, yes. Not so sure about the flower - unless you mean in the border!
DeleteI was immediately attracted to your top and I wasnt surprised when I saw that it was by Flax! I have tops from them that I love!
ReplyDeleteTheir styling is good, but I do wish that this top had side pockets!
DeleteI have fallen for linen. Love the cut and color of that top.
ReplyDeleteIt is a lovely fabric to wear but I do sometimes look as though I've just crawled out of bed.
DeleteNobody notices crumpled when you're wearing something so fantastic and the sun is shining. I love the colour. Nice ring - the stone looks like a coloured moonstone.
ReplyDeleteWell it's a great thought, Melanie, that it might be a moonstone, but A h'aye ma douts!
DeleteLinen is the perfect summer fabric. I always leave pressed and wrinkle free, but the wrinkles appear in a second. It is all good! Love the color on you.
ReplyDeleteI'm just the same, Bonnie. Even after the shortest car journey I emerge all creased and crumpled.
DeleteFlax is one of my favorite brands and that's one great shirt! Love all the pinks and purples!
ReplyDeleteHello Dawn, I've been having a peep at your site and it all sounds good! I find pinks and purples are very happy colours to wear.
DeleteYeaaayyy... You're back! And for a memorable return, she comes back looking for all the world like a fairy emerging from the bottom of the garden! Lovely linen ... it's meant to be rumpled. I like the crisp quality of unironed linen the best.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week ... please drop by for a visit.
I've been round for a visit, Jan, and left you a message.
DeleteThat's a great colour on you, and I really like the cool summer style, perfect for showing us around your beautiful garden!
ReplyDeleteHello Emalina, I love the photos that you take, always with such a fairy-story quality to them.
ReplyDeleteJune is the best time to be in my garden, even on a sodden day like today, because everything is so fresh and blowsy and full of promise.
